This project started its life in 2002 by two school effectiveness advisers - Mike and Bob - based on techniques evolved from working with school leaders over many years, and from Ofsted inspection work. Chris is the newest member of the team - a gifted software engineer and the author of our new system - 4Matrix.net 2010 - an SQL-powered, web-enabled version of 4Matrix.
These professional tools have been specifically designed to enhance the role of senior staff with responsibility for standards and achievement. The design of 4Matrix is driven by requests from users, and we will always try to accommodate all requests. We are developing new features all the time and these appear in new updates that are free to users.
Because we are a small company, you can talk directly to the developers if you have technical issues or suggestions. We make continuing development a priority so that users continue to benefit from our approach to improving the use of Performance Information Systems in schools.
We believe that 4Matrix offers a refreshing, cost effective, modern approach to supporting schools with innovative ICT management solutions.
Contact mike at mike@4matrix.org if you would like to offer thoughts, tell us about your work, or learn more about how schools are using 4Matrix.
